updated 06:35 pm EST, Thu November 5, 2009

Software follows Vue 8 releases eary in the week

Following the release of Vue 8 Infinite and xStream this week, e-on is now shipping the rest of its Vue 8 animation utilities including Frontier, Pioneer, Esprit, Studio, and Complete. Frontier provides tools for creating scenic nature and Poser character rendering. The software supports any static Poser model and allows users to render the models using the native shading trees of Poser. A free version of SkinVue is included for enhancing skin realism.

Pioneer, Vue's free entry-level product, is designed for newcomers to 3D software or casual artists. The software provides landscape-creation tools for rendering images of 3D worlds. Users can add 12 optional models with specific functionality to suit different needs.

Esprit builds upon the basic Digital Nature application with additional features for importing content and controlling scenery. The software is designed with an uncluttered interface and advanced rendering capabilities.

Studio also expands the Digital Nature utility, adding vegetation and rendering features geared for 3D artists. The software focuses on natural vegetation capabilities and extended Poser integration.

Complete combines the wide range of Vue 8 modules into a single package. Users can create and modify EcoSystems including trees, plants, terrains, and spectral atmospheres, with fully animated scenes affected by factors such as wind.

All of the Vue 8 products are available for Windows and Mac OS X. Vue 8 Pioneer is available for free, with each theme pack retailing for $50, while Frontier can be purchased for $100. Esprit carries a price tag of $200, while Studio costs $400 and Complete commands $600. Upgrades and cross-grades are also available, with pricing listed on the company's website.
